- ANZAC Day Race Meeting 2005 -
Melbourne: A tradition at Moe, ANZAC Day at the races starts with a flag raising ceremony and is followed by great racing, musical and childrens entertainment and of course the ever popular Two-Up is played throughout the afternoon. ...(more inside)
- ANZAC Day Service 2005 -
Queensland: A dawn service will be held at Birdsville`s ANZAC Park, followed by a veteran`s breakfast. Later in the morning there will be a veteran`s parade through town to the Birdsville Hotel for some traditional ANZAC Day activities. All veterans and visitors are welcome. ...(more inside)
- In remembrance: ANZAC Day 2004 -
Every year, Auckland War Memorial Museum marks ANZAC Day with a special programme of commemorative events. This year, ANZAC Day is particularly special as it marks 90 years since the outbreak of World War I.
- Gallipoli Yacht Rally 2004 -
The GALLIPOLI YACHT RALLY 2004 will consist of two groups in chartered yachts. The Group 1 Rally takes place along the Turkish Aegean Coast with the final destination ANZAC Cove for the 89th ANZAC Day Dawn Service at North Beach.
- Legacy of ANZAC Walk 2004 -
Fez Shop UK in conjunction with TNT Magazine is offering one Aussie and one Kiwi a once in a lifetime opportunity the chance to take part in the second annual Legacy of ANZAC Walk in Turkey a 10-day charity walk from Istanbul to Gallipoli, to raise money for the RSL, RSA and Veterans of Gallipoli Society.
- ANZAC Day Dawn Service Port Adelaide -
Port Adelaide: A Dawn Service commences at 6.20am with a march from St. Paul`s Church followed by breakfast at the Port Adelaide Naval Association Rooms.
- ANZAC Day March And Wreath Laying Ceremony, Maryborough -
On the 25th of April 2004 at 9am the Australian Navy Cadets will assemble alongside Returned Servicemen, current Defence Force Personnel and families of Passed Defence Personnel, for the ANZAC Day March in memory of our Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and families who gave their lives for us.
- ANZAC Day Races at Cunnamulla 2004 -
This is the first race meeting held in Cunnamulla each year. After the ANZAC Day march the crowd heads out to the race course for a chicken and champagne lunch and an afternoon of good racing with a five race programme.
- Big Beltana ball -
An outback ball next April will be unlike any other bush ball. The Outback Ball Beltana will be a black-tie affair under the stars at the Beltana Racetrack, between Parachilna and Leigh Creek, on April 24 as part of the ANZAC Day long weekend.
- Lest We Forget Run -
On Sunday 2nd May 2004 people all across Australia will participate in Australia`s largest fun run. Many will run in memory of a great Australian. You can participate in this National Event by selecting your location below and registering online. If your town isn`t registered yet, don`t hesitate to contact firstname.lastname@example.org to get started. On the first Sunday after ANZAC Day each year, an 8km or 5 mile run/walk will be held in your town. Run/Walk in honour of one of your relatives or friends and have their name listed on the Lest We Forget Hall of Fame.

- Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 -
On ANZAC Day 2004, the community of Zonnebeke is opening a brand-new museum in the grounds of Zonnebeke Chateau, about the infamous battlefields, ninety years after the beginning of the Great War. The Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 is the successor to the well-known Streekmuseum and is maintaining a classically traditional style of presentation.

- Gokceada: island of peace -
Two societies with different faiths can live side by side, Gökçeadas mayor said. August 8 Over the years Turkey and Greece have had their differences, no more so that in the Aegean region, but the island of Gökçeada is celebrating peace and new found harmony between the two neighbours.
Sardines Festival in Gelibolu town (Gallipoli)
This year the 12th sardines festival was held in Gelibolu. The government organized 3 tons sardines and served it for free to the public.
The festival started at 3 o`clock with opening of the Yamac Park, later they served 3 tons sardines for a huge barbeque. All fishes were eaten in only half an hour.
- Simpson revered -
The image of Jack Simpson and his donkey with a wounded soldier strapped to its back on the battlefields of Gallipoli is part of Australian folklore. They saved more than 300 ANZACS and a monument to their heroism is at the National War Museum. The image will be recreated tomorrow at the Reserve Forces Day march in Sydney.
- 2003 Festival a huge success -
The 46th Henry Lawson Festival definitely had to be the best yet... ...The contributions were fantastic and the Art Judge, Jean Stokes would have needed the wisdom of Solomon to choose the winners of the various sections, not to mention the Statuette winner (Alan Mcclure for his painting "ANZAC Day in the Country".
- ANZAC Week 2004 Goreme Cappadocia Turkey -
From the 27th of April to the 4th of May 2003, the town of Goreme in central Turkey played host to its first annual ANZAC week, culminating in a huge public party on the evening of the 4th. The celebrations kicked off with the unveiling of a new ANZAC memorial and water fountain in the newly-created Peace Park in the centre of town.
